The trailer for Jumanji: Open World, the third installment in the “Jumanji” series, has been released by Sony. Fans get their first look at the returning ensemble cast, which includes Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan, in the teaser.
The main plot of Jumanji: Open reality revolves around the heroes of the game escaping from their console and causing chaos in our reality. Johnson, Black, Hart, and Gillan are depicted in the clip as awkward real-life representations of their video game personas.
The third movie builds on the success of “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” (2017) and “Jumanji: The Next Level” (2019), which combined brought in over $1.7 billion worldwide. Along with newcomers Dan Hildebrand and Jack Jewkes, returning cast members include Danny DeVito, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Marin Hinkle, Bebe Neuwirth, Lamorne Morris, and Rhys Darby.
The movie was supposed to be released on December 11th, but it has been rescheduled for Christmas. “Jumanji 3” will open in theaters shortly after the December 18 debuts of “Dune: Part Three” and “Avengers: Doomsday,” which fans have dubbed “Dunesday.”
