‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It’ | Official Trailer

Warner Bros. has released a trailer for the third installment of the Conjuring franchise titled The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

The film stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga who are reprising their roles as supernatural investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. The pair return to investigate the mysterious case of Arne Cheyenne Johnson who defended himself against manslaughter prosecution by claiming he was the victim of demonic possession.

Julian Hillard (WandaVision) will also be joining Wilson and Farmiga as 11-year-old David Glatzel who is possessed by a demon. Hillard however is no stranger to horror as he previously appeared in the TV mini-series The Haunting of Hill House as well as Penny Dreadful: City of Angels

The Conjuring has produced several spinoff films including Annabelle, The Nun, and The Curse of La Llorona. Both Wilson and Farmiga have starred in several of these films but the new trailer hints that this could be the end of the franchise.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is directed by Michael Chaves and written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and James Wan, who also created and directed the first two movies of the franchise.

The film is set to debut in theaters and on HBO Max on June 4th.
