Weekend Box Office: June 17th-19th

Finding Dory had opened biggest domestic opening of all time for an animated film with $136.2 million, beating out the previous record holder, Shrek the Third. In a distant second place was the Dwayne Johnson/Kevin Hart action comedy Central Intelligence, which made more than $100 million less than Dory. Blockbuster genre films like Warcraft, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Captain America: Civil War are dominating the box office, as is typical for this time of the year.
