The title and logline for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ latest original film have been revealed as “Hexed.”
During Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, Jared Bush, who serves as Disney Animation’s chief creative officer, announced the project. The film will be directed by Josie Trinidad (“Zootopia+”) and Jason Hand (“Moana 2”), with Roy Conli and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster-Jones as producers.
The official logline for “Hexed” reads as follows: “An awkward teenage boy and his Type-A mom discover that what makes him unusual, might just be magical powers that will turn their lives and a secret world of magic, upside down.”
“Hexed” is set to hit theaters in November 2026.
