John Cho Injured on “Cowboy Bebop” Set, Shutting Down Production

John Cho suffered a freak accident on the set of the upcoming Netflix series :”Cowboy Bebop,” forcing production of the show to shut down. The injury will require surgery and rehabilitation, which is expected to take 7-9 months. Production on the series will resume once he’s been cleared.

“Cowboy Bebop” is a live-action adaptation of the wildly popular anime series of the same name. The live-action cast also includes Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda, and Alex Hassel. Our own Jeff Heller moderated a Q&A with “Cowboy Bebop” English voice actor Steve Blum at the 2018 Nickel City Con, which you can watch below:
