Complete Emmy Winners List

This years’ Emmy Awards were definitely a year of firsts. Schitt’s Creek swept the comedy awards, which was a first for the Emmys, Zendaya upset Jennifer Aniston, winning Best Actress in a Drama, becoming the youngest actress to do so, and the broadcast was done virtually. Host Jimmy Kimmel performed a monologue from a nearly empty Staples Center (below), which was chosen because it had the technological capabilities to accommodate dozens of remote feeds from the nominees. The Television Academy sent a DIY broadcast kit to each nominee, including a ring light, a microphone, a laptop and a camera.
