Zac Efron to Star in “Three Men and a Baby” remake for Disney+

According to he Hollywood Reporter, Zac Efron will be starring in an upcoming remake of the hit 1987 comedy “Three Men and a Baby” for Disney+. The original “Three Men and a Baby,” which was itself based on a French film,  followed the mishaps and adventures of three bachelors (Tom Selleck, Ted Danson, and Steve Guttenberg, as they attempt to adapt their lives to pseudo-fatherhood with the arrival of the love child of Danson’s character. The film, which was directed by Leonard Nimoy, was followed by “Three Men and a Little Lady.”

Efron has been in some notable films in the last few years, including “The Greatest Showman,” “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile,” and “Baywatch.” He is currently starring in Netflix’s documentary series “Down to Ear,’ which he also Executive Produces. There is no word on who will portray the two remaining of the trio.
