We have a trailer for Netflix’s prequel series to “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” which will focus on the titular Nurse Ratched. Sarah Paulson will be portraying the younger Rached, who was portrayed by Louise Fletcher in the 1975 film. Fletcher won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal. In addition to the original Ken Kesey “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”novel, the Broadway production and the aforementioned film, Nurse Ratched has also been featured in the ABC series “Once Upon a Time,” portrayed by Ingrid Torrance.
“Ratched” was produced by “American Horror Story’s Ryan Murphy, and will premiere September 18.
