With Star Wars Episode IX: Rise of Skywalker only months away, Lucasfilm is starting to plow ahead with marketing, including releasing images of some new characters. First up is Babu Frik, who is described as a “tiny Anzellan droidsmith [that] works among the Spice Runners of Kijimi and can reprogram or modify virtually any droid — regardless of the security measures protecting its systems.”
There is no word on how big of a role Babu Frik will play, nor do we know who is voicing him/her, but we’ll find out when Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20, 2019.
