Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy have signed contracts to reprise their roles in Paramount’s A Quiet Place Part III. The cast will also include Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke, and Katy O’Brian, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe are also expected to return.
The most recent film in the A Quiet Place franchise will be written, produced, and directed by John Krasinski, and Paramount has scheduled a July 30, 2027 release date.
Created by John Krasinski, the series began with the critically acclaimed 2018 film starring Krasinski and Emily Blunt, which follows a family struggling to survive in silence after an alien invasion wipes out much of humanity. Its tense atmosphere and emotional storytelling led to the sequel A Quiet Place Part II in 2021, expanding the world beyond the original family and exploring how other survivors cope with the terrifying creatures. The universe grew further with the prequel A Quiet Place: Day One (2024), starring Lupita Nyong’o, which depicts the chaotic first days of the invasion in New York City.
