Cult of Chucky marks the seventh in the Child’s Play series, following Child’s Play (1988,) Child’s Play 2 (1990), Child’s Play 3 (1991), Bride of Chucky (1998), Seed of Chucky (2004), and Curse of Chucky (2013). It’s safe to say he series has lost it’s luster, but Chucky is one of the most recognizable horror characters, so that will likely earn this film a few dollars.
