In a recent interview with ABC news Arnold Shwarzenegger and the rest of the cast of Terminator Gynesis sat down to discuss the upcoming 5th Terminator movie. When asked what he thought about the 4th Film in the franchise Salvation, the only film in the franchise not to star Arnie, he expressed his relief on passing up the role, stating,
“Thank god, it sucked”
A short but accurate opinion of the film. One that was expressed by most critics as well. On July 1, we will see what the new sequel brings as it moves back into its original territory with some fancy time-warping set up. There will be some obvious re-imagining of the originals since they re-start from the begining and we get some Arnie vs. Arnie action as well as a new Asian cyborg who looks eerily like Robert Patricks melty robot from Terminator 2. All will be revealed in just a few short months. Let’s hope it’s better than the spelling employed in its title!
