Netflix has announced that the second season of its hit series “The Umbrella Academy” will be debuting on July 31 of this year. The cast recorded the below quarantine-friendly video to make the announcement.
Based on the Dark Horse comic, the series revolves around a dysfunctional family of adopted sibling superheroes who reunite to solve the mystery of their father’s death and the threat of an impending apocalypse. Stars Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin H. Min will be returning, joined by Ritu Arya, Marin Ireland, and Yusuf Gatewood.
