Alfonso Gomez-Rejon’s Me and Earl and the Dying Girl made a huge splash at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, winning both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award. Check out the trailer:
It looks a lot like Wes Anderson directing A Fault in Our Stars (ya know like Rushmore having a baby with a cancer laden tween novel). Just how great this film is will be judged when it hits theaters this summer. But honestly this trailer alone has me sold, if only to see the movie parodies the characters in the film make, “Sockwork Orange” and “2:48pm Cowboy.” Yep we’re in!
