Here is the second trailer for Disney+’s upcoming series WandaVision. Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) begin to suspect things are not as they seem as the two live their ideal suburban life. The series will reportedly explain how and why Wanda becomes known as the Scarlet Witch, as she had not been called that in previous MCU appearances. We can also assume that it will also explain the appearance of Vision, who is, well, dead.
The series will have ties to a few other MCU films. It will feature a grown up Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), who is the daughter of Maria Rambeau, who is the best friend of Carol Danvers. A younger version played by Akira Akbar previously appeared in the film Captain Marvel. Kat Dennings will be reprising her role of Darcy Lewis from Thor and Thor: The Dark World, and Randall Park will reprise his role of FBI agent Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp. The cast will also include Fred Melamed, Debra Jo Rupp and Kathryn Hahn.
WandaVision starts streaming Jan. 15 on Disney+.
