Disney Pushes Back Upcoming MCU Films; Indy 5

Disney announced a slew of revisions to Marvel’s future schedule on Monday, the majority of which saw movies pushed back several months or more. Among them is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which has been pushed back from July 8, 2022, to November 11, 2022. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the first film to be rescheduled, moving from March 25, 2022, to May 6, 2022, the date previously held by Thor: Love and Thunder. The next installment of Marvel’s Thor series will premiere on July 8, the  original release date as the Black Panther sequel. The Marvels will move from November 11, 2022, to February 17, 2023, pushing Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania back to July 28, 2023.

The unnamed Indiana Jones reboot will be pushed back almost a year, from July 29, 2022, to June 30, 2023. The Marvel moves, according to studio insiders, are mostly due to different production delays, as well as seeking the optimum dates for movies as the film industry recovers from the flu pandemic.
