The Weekend Box Office is in and Straight Outta Compton destroyed the competition with a $56,000,000 opening easily beating out the the only other opening movie this weekend, Guy Ritchie’s Man From Uncle which opened at number three with just $13,500,000 in box office revenue. Mission Impossible held strong at number two with 17,000,000 box office take putting its total at $138,000,000. Marvel’s Ant-Man is still hanging in and was able to crack the 150,000,000 mark this week. Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck rounded out the top ten and is on track to break $100,000,000 in box office revenue. Fantastic Four has dropped heavily after it’s opening weekend and will barely make $50,000,000 in domestic sales, the studio has already cancelled plans for another sequel in the series.
