Paramount has released a trailer for “Transformers One,” the animated prequel featuring the voices of Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry and Scarlett Johansson.
The movie depicts the rivalry between the Autobots and the Decepticons, set on the planet Cybertron.
Hemsworth voices young Optimus Prime with Henry as young Megatron. The origin story explains how the two became sworn enemies. Other cast members include Johansson as Elita, Keegan-Michael Key as Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime and Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion.
The film was directed by Josh Cooley (“Toy Story 4”) from a screenplay by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari.
“Transformers One” is set to release in theaters Sept. 20.
