In a recent interview, director Taika Waititi has confirmed that Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth Thor film and the 29th film in the MCU (if all goes according to schedule), will begin shooting in August. The film will reunite Waititi and star Chris Hemsworth, and will mark the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, as well as her new role as the female Thor. There is no word on how Thor’s departure with the Guardians of the Galaxy in Avengers: Endgame will be addressed in the film. There’s also no word on whether or not we’ll be seeing Dad Bod Thor again.
Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters on November 5th, 2021.
