We recently reported that Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts were confirmed to have cameos in Paul Feig’s all female Ghostbusters reboot. Well, thanks to the director himself, we have one more original cast member cameo confirmation:
In addition to Hudson and Potts, Weaver will join fellow original Ghostbusters cast members Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd, along with new cast members Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. The only hold out from the original cast would be Rick Moranis (not including antagonist William Atherton), although the likelihood of Moranis coming out of retirement for this is pretty low. But man, how great would that be?
