According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Pictures is looking to give a crack at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. The studios recent attempts to revitalize the decades old franchise was met with not-so-great reviews and less than blockbuster returns.
Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, who produced the most recent Turtles franchise, will return to produce the film via their Platinum Dunes banner, which produced the hit horror film A Quiet Place. The reboot is a result of new chairman Jim Gianopulos’ pledge to “clean up the studio’s slate and refocus its franchises.”
There is no word as to whether or not stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett and Stephen Amell will return, but as this is a planned reboot, it’s not likely.
