NYC’s Rooftop Cinema Club Starts 3rd Season

NEW YORK’S ULTIMATE ROOFTOP SCREENING EXPERIENCE RETURNS FOR 3RD SEASON

MANHATTAN & BROOKLYN LINEUP ANNOUNCED FOR MAY & JUNE

Take Your Experience Up A Level With Favorite Cult, Classic and New Releases

New York, NY – New York’s exclusive Rooftop Cinema Club returns for its third blockbuster season of open-air screenings at two of New York’s most unique urban venues – Manhattan’s YOTEL residence, and Bushwick’s Office Ops.

Film lovers can sit back and immerse themselves in starlit screenings with just the Milky Way for a roof, while their favorite classics, pop-culture phenomenons, and new releases come to life on the big screen.

YOTEL New York not only offers guests their iconic location – a stone’s throw from Times Square – but also fine dining at their Mediterranean Fusion Urban Eatery Green Fig. Enjoy shared plates and then head upstairs for bubbly and movie magic.

Just across the East River at Office Ops, Brooklyn’s trendiest can lay back with BYO drinks under the twinkling city skyline. Pack your favorite summer libations and soak up the sunset over the Manhattan skyline.

The Manhattan season will kick off with a Red Bull Media House special screening of Distance Between Dreams, documenting the most historic year in big-wave surfing through the eyes of Ian Walsh. The legendary surfer sets mind and body in motion to redefine the upper limits of what’s considered rideable and surf unimaginable heights. Ian Walsh himself will be in residence at the Yotel screening on May 3rd to field questions about riding massive El Niño-powered swells and his quest to survive and thrive in one of the most hostile environments on earth.

Making their Rooftop debut this season are Academy Award® winners Moonlight, Manchester by the Sea and La La Land, Academy Award® nominees Hidden Figures, Arrival, Lion, Moana, Hell or High Water and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, as well as The Edge of Seventeen, Queen of Katwe, Logan, Paterson, Kubo and the Two Strings, The Love Witch and Split.

Below is the complete list of movie titles that will be screened at Rooftop Cinema Club this May and June. Some nights will highlight exclusive double features, pairing timeless classics with this year’s newest releases.

“We are thrilled to be back for our third season in the Big Apple, providing New Yorkers with an unmissable rooftop movie experience,” said Founder Gerry Cottle Jnr. “There’s no better way for film fans to spend those warm summer nights, than under the stars and in front of the screen.”

Rooftop Cinema Club takes cinemagoers to new heights on the stunning Manhattan and Brooklyn rooftops up to 4-5 times a week. Guests will enjoy sunset film screenings with state of the art equipment, high quality wireless headphones, specialty cocktails crafted by San Pellegrino Sparkling Fruit Beverages* and comfy deck chairs, all perched beneath the stars in the heart of the city.

Tickets are on sale now at http://rooftopcinemaclub.com/new-york. Seating is limited and screenings are likely to sell out fast. Don’t miss out on this unique experience!

Screenings are for adults only/18+ and ticket prices range from $15+booking fee – $39. Grab yourself a friend or loved one and enjoy the brand new Rooftop Love Seats, with a shared double deckchair, pillow, bottomless popcorn, and a glass of Prosecco for the ultimate open-air lovebirds’ experience.
