Melissa McCarthy’s new action comedy opens next week, on June 5th, in theaters nationwide. The synopsis is this:
Melissa McCarthy plays Susan Cooper, an unassuming, desk-bound CIA analyst, who’s also the unsung hero behind the Agency’s most dangerous missions. But when her partner, played by Jude Law, falls off the grid and another top agent (Jason Statham) is compromised, she volunteers to go deep undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent a global disaster.
By the sounds of it, there’s nothing she can do to prevent this disaster. For her sake, we certainly hope she can.
