Loving Vincent is the first full length film to be completely hand painted. The film, which director Dorota Kobiela and Oscar-winning producer Hugh Welchman funded via Kickstarter, features the work of over 100 trained artists who created than 56,000 hand-drawn paintings in total and 12 hand-made oil paintings per second in the style of Impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh. Even if the film itself turns out to be not very good, technically, this is an astounding accomplishment, and will likely be worth watching.
