According to The Wrap, director James Gunn is eyeing Kurt Russel to play father to Chris Pratt’s Star Lord in the upcoming Guardian’s of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Russel has had a good year, with roles in Furious 7, Bone Tomahawk, and the upcoming Hateful Eight. This could be a lot of fun. We’re happy to see Russell in anything, really. Guardian’s of the Galaxy Vol. 2. is scheduled to be released May 5, 2017.
