Fox has announced the official title for the Independence Day sequel, naming it Independence Day Resurgence. They also released a couple photos from set showing off a spacecraft named Moon Tug. Actors Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Vivica Fox, Brent Spiner and Liam Hemsworth are set to appear in the film with Roland Emmerich returning to direct. Independence Day Resurgence opens on June 24, 2016.
I dunno.. that’s one of the most generic sounding 20 year old sequels that I’ve seen since the Terminator:Genysis announcement less than two years ago.
