Disney+ has announced that their planned short-form unscripted Muppets series “Muppets Now” will be debuting on the streaming service this summer. The studio’s last attempt at a Muppets series, ABC’s “The Office” and “30 Rock” inspired ‘The Muppets” was not received terribly well, and was cancelled after one season. This will mark the first series to feature Matt Vogel as Kermit, who replaced longtime Muppet performer Steve Whitmire.
