Last night, the British Academy Film Awards , popularly known as the BAFTAs , celebrated excellence in film with a diverse slate of winners from around the world. The big story of the night was One Battle After Another, which led all films with six trophies, including Best Film and Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson, solidifying its position as a leading contender for this year’s Academy Awards.
Another standout was Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, which took home three BAFTAs, including Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress for Wunmi Mosaku, marking notable achievements for the celebrated filmmaker and actress. Robert Aramayo took home Brest Actor for his role in the film, I Swear.
