According to the film and television production site My Entertainment World, the fifth film in the Transformers franchise will begin filming this May. Michael Bay will return to direct, with Mark Wahlberg reprising his Cade Yeager role from Age of Extinction. There have been no other confirmed roles, but it can be assume Peter Cullen will return to voice Optimus Prime. The lackluster performance and reviews of Age of Extinction apparently has not prevented Paramount from realizing that there’s still money to be made from the franchise.
