At D23 saw the release of a trailer for another Dave Filoni project from Lucasfilm Animation, the new animated anthology series of Star Wars shorts, Tales of the Jedi. The first information about it was officially released in May 2022. Six episodes make up this new batch, which is divided into two “paths,” one of which follows Ahsoka Tano and the other of which shows Count Dooku as a young man before turning to the dark side. The voice cast includes Micheál Richardson, Janina Gavankar, Matt Lanter, Dee Bradley Baker, and Ashley Eckstein in addition to Liam Neeson reprising his role as Qui-Gon. This is produced in a similar manner to Filoni’s earlier television program, Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
