According to Deadline, Stranger Things star Sadie Sink will be joining the Spiderverse, as she is set to star opposite Tom Holland in the upcoming fourth installment of the Spider-Man franchise.
Sink, who joined the cast of Stranger Things is season 3, has long been rumored to be joining the MCU as Jean Grey, though this casting would seem to negate that rumor. The end of Spider-Man: No Way Home had Peter erased from the minds of everyone who knew him, so we can expect to not only see less screen time, if any, from the Holland’s previous supporting cast, but a move away from the MCU as well (or own Jeff Heller theorizes that No Way Home set the table to sever ties with the MCU and set up a Miles Morales-centered Spidy franchise). There is no word who Sink will be actually be portraying in the film.
Spider-Man 4 is set to be released on July 24, 2026.
