Variety is reporting that Steve Zahn will be donning a motion capture suit to act along side Andy Serkis in War of the Planet of the Apes. This is an interesting move for the actor. There was a time that you couldn’t swing a dead cat without hitting a Steve Zahn movie, but the actor has gone fairly under the radar for the last few years, despite working steadily.
War of the Planet of the Apes film will also feature Woody Harrelson and Gabriel Chavarria. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves will return to direct, with a July 14, 2017 release date scheduled.
