‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Season 2 Sets Premiere Date

This summer, Paramount+ will begin airing season 2 of “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” so prepare to set your phasers to fun. The new season will debut on June 15, 2023, exclusively on the streaming service, with new episodes dropping every week.

This is fantastic news for followers of the U.S.S. Enterprise-A crew, led by Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount), in the most recent live-action “Star Trek” series. A number of younger versions of the original characters, including Spock (Ethan Peck), Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding), Number One (Rebecca Romijn), Doctor M’Benga (Babs Olusanmokun), and Nurse Chapel, feature in the series, which takes place before the events of the original 1960s series.

In other Trek news, “Lower Decks” will return in late summer, but an exact date has yet to be confirmed.
