Get ready to head back to Bayside High. When California governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the highest performing schools in the state – including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the over privileged Bayside kids a dose of reality. Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley will be reprising their “Saved by the Bell” roles, with Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tiffani Amber Thiessen expected to cameo.
Peacock’s update of “Saved by the Bell” is scheduled to debut by the end of 2020.
