In more End of Days news, Comic-Con International has canceled the annual San Diego Comic-Con due the coronavirus pandemic, for the first time in its 50-year history. SDCC was originally scheduled to take place July 23-26. It is currently scheduled to return to the San Diego Convention Center from July 22-25, 2021. Comic-Con International released the following statement:
“For the first time in its 50-year history San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC), the organizers behind the annual pop culture celebration, announced today with deep regret, that there will be no Comic-Con in 2020.”
This follows a long list of cancellations, including CinemaCon in Las Vegas and Wondercon in Anaheim. Fan Expo Canada in Toronto has yet to cancel.
