Nick Jonas has been confirmed to return in the follow up to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. He will be joining his returning castmates Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Morgan Turner, and Alex Wolffare. Danny DeVito and Danny Glover will join the cast, with Awkwafina in final negotiations to join. Given Jonas’ storyline in the last film, he was the one cast member we weren’t expecting to see back. It’ll be curious how they write him into the story.
Jonas also has his eyes set on Gotham City. When asked in as Instagram post who should replace the exiting Ben Affleck as Batman, he responded with “First name Nick. Last name Jonas,” though in all likelihood, the comment was made in jest.
Jumanji 3 is expected for a December 13th release date , with Matt Reeves’ Batman film expected to hit theaters in summer of 2021.
