A little while back we reported on a rumor that Darth Vader would be appearing in Star Wars: Rogue One. Well, according to Making Star Wars, the newest rumor to come out of the Star Wars world is that Hayden Christensen will return for Episode VIII. Their informant gave them this tidbit of information:
“A team in the U.K. are soon heading to the U.S. to begin training Hayden Christensen for a Star Wars: Episode VIII appearance of some sort.”
So what does that mean exactly? Jedi ghost? Not likely, as ghosts don’t need to train, unless Christianson has REALLY let himself go. Flashback? Possibly. If that’s the case, who else might we see from the prequels? And the biggest question, is of course, whether or not Christianson can produce a decent performance now that he’s not forced to recite Lucas’ cardboard drivel.
