Deadline is reporting that Gal Gadot will be portraying Egyptian ruler Cleopatra in a film directed by Wonder Woman and WW84’s Patty Jenkins. The film will be produced by Gal Gadot and Jaron Varsano’s Pilot Waves Motion Pictures and distributed by Paramount Pictures. Paramount is eager to have a big budget blockbuster under its belt to help ease the pandemic pain.
Cleopatra was most notably portrayed by Elizabeth Taylor in 1963’s Cleopatra, directed by Joseph Mankiewicz.
