Same Frasier. New skyline. Here’s the trailer for Paramount+‘s upcoming “Frasier” reboot. The new series follows Dr. Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge, and an old dream or two to finally fulfill.
Original cast members Bebe Neuwirth (Frasier’s ex Dr. Lilith Sternin), Jane Leeves (Daphne) and Peri Gilpin (Roz Doyle) will be reprising their roles. With the series taking place in Boston, it leaves the door open for characters from Cheers to make appearances. Our own Jeff Heller spoke with Grammer about the possibility of his fellow Cheers cast-mates appearing on the new series, to which Grammer replied, “Good Lord, you know there’s always a chance, but I haven’t really thought about it. If it comes up and it’s entrenched into a storyline, yeah, probably. You never know.”
“Frasier” will run for 10 episodes, with installments dropping weekly on Thursdays.
