It’s being reported that Millie Gibson, the newest companion on “Doctor Who,” will be replaced after just one season.
In the show’s fifteenth season, Varada Sethu, star of “Jurassic World Dominion” and “Andor” will play the Doctor’s companion opposite Ncuti Gatwa.
Gibson made her debut on the venerable science fiction program in December’s Christmas special. Prior to this, Gibson was best known for her role as Kelly Neelan in the British serial opera “Coronation Street.” She co-starred with Gatwa as companion Ruby Sunday, the Fifteenth Doctor.
In the next 14th season, which is scheduled to premiere in May on the BBC in the United Kingdom and Disney+ abroad, Gibson will reprise her role as Ruby.
