Variety is reporting that actor Dean Jones, best known for his roles in Disney movies of the 1960’s, including the Herbie the Love Bug films and That Darn Cat, died on Tuesday from Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 84.
Jones appeared in forty six films in all, including The Shaggy D.A., Beethoven, Jailhouse Rock, and Clear and Present Danger. Jones had a cameo in the 1997 made for TV sequel/remake of The Love Bug for ABC starring Bruce Campbell. In addition to his work on screen, Jones also was an accomplished stage and television actor.
