The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that famed film composer and former Oingo Boingo frontman Danny Elfman will be composing the score for Warner Bros’ upcoming Justice League. Composer Antonius Tom Holkenborg, also known as Junkie XL, was working with director Zack Snyder on the film, but will be stepping away to work on the new Tomb Raider. Joss Whedon, who was brought in to finish directing after Snyder had to leave the project due to a personal tragedy, has worked with Elfman in the past, having brought him in to provide additional music for Avengers: Age of Ultron. No stranger to the genre, Elfman also scored long time collaborator Tim Burton’s Batman and Batman Returns, as well as Sam Raimi’s first two Spider-Man films.
