Welcome to our latest experiment! It’s the one you’ve been waiting for all your life! Not only does this year mark the 30th Anniversary of Back to the Future, but this October 21st marks the day Doc and Marty traveled into the future in Back to the Future Part II. To commemorate these occasions, Film Dumpster is running a Back to the Future Fan Art Contest!
We want you to re-imagine Back to the Future as if it were made by a different filmmaker. What if Quentin Tarantino wrote Back to the Future III? Or if David Lynch directed Part I? What would Doc and Marty look like if Tim Burton made the trilogy? You get the idea. Send us your best fan art depicting either the poster, characters, time machine, specific scenes, etc. as if it were written and/or directed than someone other than Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale.
FIRST place winner will receive the Limited Edition Back to the Future™: The Complete Adventures Blu-ray set and other goodies courtesy of BacktotheFuture.com, and will ALSO receive an autographed picture of Jeffrey Weissman as George McFly (donated by Jeffrey Weissman himself!), as well as some Film Dumpster swag. SECOND place winner will receive an autographed picture of Jeffrey Weissman as George McFly (also donated by Jeffrey Weissman!), in addition to some Film Dumpster swag. And THIRD place will receive some Film Dumpster swag.
