The websites Cleat and Capes and Birth.Movies.Death. are reporting that Warner Bros. is moving ahead with a Booster Golg/Blue Beetle film, which has been rumored for a little while now. The CW’s Arrow and Flash showrunner Greg Berlanti will be producing and possibly directing, with Thor and Power Rangers scribe Zack Stentz writing (Berlanti confirmed his involvement in a Booster Gold film an interview with THR).
We reported a while back that Firefly and Con-Men costars Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk were both interested in starring in a Booster Gold/Blue Beetle film together, which could possibly be the best casting ever. Warner Bros. would be unwise to not at least consider the two for the roles.
