YouTuber and practicing lawyer James from the YouTube page Legal Eagle has a series in which he dissects films and TV shows and breaks down all of legal violations. In this episode he examines the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, as well as determining Wonka’s total civil liabilities. Now, to be fair, some of the laws applied here are current laws and applicable in the U.S., so some may not be relevant, but it still does a nice job of pointing out how terrible of a factory owner Wonka is.
