In support of the upcoming election, HBO Max will air A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote, featuring original West Wing cast members Dulé Hill, Allison Janney, Rob Lowe, Janel Moloney, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford, and Martin Sheen, as well as Sterling K. Brown as Leo McGarry. Sadly, John Spencer, who played Leo on the series, passed away in 2005. Former First Lady Michelle Obama, President Bill Clinton, and Lin-Manuel Miranda will also make appearances.
Based on the season 3 episode Hartsfield’s Landing, the special will be produced by Aaron Sorkin, Thomas Schlamme and Casey Patterson.
