Variety recently stopped World War Z producers Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner on the red carpet and asked them the status of the sequel, to which Gardner responded “We’re starting the shoot in June.”
Acclaimed director David Fincher, with whom star Brad Pitt has worked with onFight Club and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, has been attached to direct the sequel, taking over from director Marc Forster.
