Famed character actor William Fichtner, known best for roles in Armageddon, Black Hawk Down, The Dark Knight and The Perfect Storm, will be making his directorial debut on the upcoming film Cold Brook, which he co-wrote with his writing partner Cain DeVore. The film, which will star Fichtner and Sons of Anarchy’s Kim Coates, tells the story of “two ordinary guys in a small town who embark on an extraordinary adventure. It’s a story about coming home; something everyone, everywhere has an innate desire to do.” Cold Brook will primarily be shot in Fitcher’s home town of Buffalo, NY this July. The film will be produced by Fichtner, as well as Sara Shaak, Shayne Putzlocher, and Coates.
