The Holiday weekend came and went and not a whole lotta of love at the box office. War Room took the number one spot this week with $12,500,000 in box office receipts, finally beating Straight Outta Compton for the top spot which brought in another $11,000,000 to take its 4 week total over $150,000,000. The new Transporter film only opened at number 5 falling prey to that end of summer slump and only grossed $9,000,000. The other new movie this weekend A Walk in the Woods opened at number with just over $10,500,000 in sales. We should start seeing some of the Fall flair soon, be wary of the horror movies that open in theaters over the next month and a half, just saying.
