Weekend Box Office Report Oct. 16th – 18th

This weekend saw a handful of new movies and it was Jack Black and the Goosebumps movie that took the top spot with a box office grab of $23,500,00.  Proving once again, kids love them some Jack Black.  The Martian held strong in second place taking $21,500,00.  Spielberg’s Bridge of Spies opened in third place with $15,000,000 and Del Toro’s Crimson Peak only managed to place 4th this week with a box office take of just under $13,000,000.  A tad disappointing for the director seeing how it looked like the most visually impressive movie to open in a while.  Pan dropped all the way to sixth place and has become a huge disappointment for Warner Brothers.
